The aerial tram takes visitors on an approx 70-minute excursion through the canopy of the rain forest to discover the hanging gardens of air plants and birds, hidden at the top of diverse tall trees. The tramway runs through a private reserve that borders the Braulio Carrillo National Park. After your tram ride, you can take an optional 45-minute guided walk through the rainforest, garnering a deeper appreciation from this new perspective of this complex environment. The motor coach ride to the tram takes 1 1/2 hours each way and lunch is included in this tour.

The tour will be an expedition into the Tropical Rain Forest. Your vehicle is a specially designed jitney for passengers pulled by a tractor. A stop is made to view the different species of plants, trees and birdlife. Guests are likely to see the famous inch-long poisonous dart-arrow frogs which are harmless as their venom is for the predators that try to eat them. Once you depart the port of Limón, you will head to our Operations Center to get changed, use restrooms and any last minute shopping needs. This Class II+ section on the Reventazon River will provide you with the thrill of rafting, get you wet but keep you safely in your boat. This trip is designed for people of all ages as we paddle together on the wide-open waters of the river through small waves with little maneuvering. Return to the Rios Tropicales operations center for lunch.
