Your scenic drive will take you through Castries and up to Morne Fortune viewpoint to capture some lovely panoramic views. Afterwards, continue to Marigot Bay view point for photos of the secluded bay, before wending your way to the town of Soufriere. As you descend into Soufriere, marvel at the spectacular twin peaks of the Pitons. You will visit the world's only drive in volcano and then enjoy a leisurely guided walk through the Maranatha Garden or Prayer Park. Hop onboard an unguided 30 minute bus transfer to Marigot Bay famously described as the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean. The bay is a historic landmark and natural hurricane shelter for many yachts and it was used as the setting for the 1967 film adaptation of Hugh Lofting's Doctor Dolittle books. Scenes of the shipwreck, Great Pink Sea Snail, and the construction of the harness for the Giant Lunar Moth were filmed in the bay. Upon arrival, a representative will orient you with the location. Create your own itinerary; enjoy a scenic stroll of the Marina, browse through the Marina Village, take a refreshing swim or just sit back relax and admire the idyllic scenery.
Start off on your snorkel adventure by boarding either a single deck or double deck power boat for a lovely cruise along the west coast of the island down to the Soufriere Bay. Here you will circle to view the magnificent Pitons - St. Lucia's landmark - before heading off to your snorkel location at Anse Mamin.
