A Hacienda Experience, PL10, Puerto Limon, Costa Rica
The Hacienda is located in the hills of Turrialbawhere where you will have the chance to learn about cultivation and processing of sugarcane. Next, learn about the cultivation of coffee from beginning to end, followed by a coffee tasting session. After lunch, visit the chapel brought by German pilgrims in 1880 and the old home style of Costa Rica's yesteryears.

The aerial tram takes visitors on an approx 70-minute excursion through the canopy of the rain forest to discover the hanging gardens of air plants and birds, hidden at the top of diverse tall trees. The tramway runs through a private reserve that borders the Braulio Carrillo National Park. After your tram ride, you can take an optional 45-minute guided walk through the rainforest, garnering a deeper appreciation from this new perspective of this complex environment. The motor coach ride to the tram takes 1 1/2 hours each way and lunch is included in this tour.
