Join a casual two-hour evening cruise with hearty appetizers from the buffet, live guitar music, stunning bay views and one complimentary drink. Sail down the San Francisco waterfront, past the famous Alcatraz Island, Angel Island, sail into Tiburon and Sausalito and then under the Golden Gate Bridge. Participants must walk approximately 1 mile roundtrip to join the tour vessel. Guests are encouraged to dress in layers, as there are many microclimates in San Francisco, and a cruise of the bay can be windy and cool.
The Napa Valley Wine Train is one of the most unique & best Napa restaurants. After about a 1 hour drive north of San Francisco, you will arrive at the Napa train station in downtown Napa. You will be welcomed on board the train with a welcome glass of house red or white wine. Choose from a seasonal menu all of which is prepared fresh & to your liking by the chefs in the specially designed kitchen car. Along the journey, you will see famous wineries like Robert Mondavi Winery, Opus One, Far Niente as well as other gems situated along the 25-mile track. After the 3 hour journey, you will arrive back at the station, disembark the train & prepare for your return drive to San Francisco.
Your tour begins with a drive around downtown San Francisco. You will drive through Union Square and head towards Nob Hill. You will enjoy a brief stop here to visit Grace Cathedral. After your visit to Grace Cathedral you continue on to Chinatown for a Dim Sum Lunch at one of Chinatown's most popular restaurants. After lunch, your tour takes you through the streets of Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square. A photo opportunity awaits you at The Bridge Pavilion overlooking the world famous Golden Gate Bridge. From the Pavilion it is on to Golden Gate Park (Time Permitting) before returning to the ship.
From the ship travel over the Golden Gate Bridge and continue north to Sonoma. Visit Chateau St. Jean. Lunch is on your own at any of the quaint cafes and bistros in Sonoma Plaza. Your tasting continues at the Imagery, followed by a visit to Domaine Carneros before traveling back to the ship. Venues visited are subject to change with or without notice.
Your day begins with a drive over the Golden Gate Bridge, through Marin County and into Napa Valley. Arriving in Napa you will visit Beringer, St. Supery and Castello de Amorosa wineries and have lunch at The Wine Spectator Greystone Restaurant. Venues are subject to change with or without notice.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
