In Ketchikan, the distance to the wilderness is measured in feet. In your inflatable, the distance to unforgettable is 2.5 hours! After gearing up, you'll step into your boat for an exhilarating, extraordinary trip. You or someone in your party will drive the small boat while you follow the guide's boat as he/she interprets your historical, cultural and ecological adventure. You may search for bears, seals and spawning salmon or perhaps admire totem poles at Saxman Native Village. You may even cruise Ketchikan's historic red light district Creek Street and historic Thomas Basin. The route is determined by current wind, tide and weather conditions. During the cruise you may see seagulls, pelicans and sea lions. You may see even harbor porpoises and whales. Participants must walk approximately 1 mile roundtrip to join the tour vessel. Guests are encouraged to dress in layers, as there are many microclimates in San Francisco, and a cruise of the bay can be windy and cool, even on a sunny day.
