Travel to the Savage Memorial, a panoramic reserve overlooking the Waitemata Harbour, named after one of New Zealand's best loved Prime Ministers, Michael Savage. From here drive to the gates of the Auckland Domain. Stop for a photo stop of the Auckland Museum before a short drive to the Winter Gardens for free time to explore. Visit the New Zealand National Maritime Museum, and then board a chartered yacht for a cruise to view the Viaduct Basin. Cruise via Westhaven, as well as the inner harbour, where you will have the opportunity to steer the yacht. There will also be a visit to Kelly Tarltons Underwater World for a tour of the aquarium.

OVERVIEW: Take the action off road through towering forests and past wild surf on your personal 4WD motor bike. HIGHLIGHTS: Ride a 4WD Quad Bike through Woodhill forest and along Muriwai beach. NOTES: A guide travels with the group on their own 4WD Quad bike for the entire duration of the tour. Guests will be required to sign a waiver.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
