Debarkation

You'll receive information about debarking procedures from the cruise staff.

But here are a few things to keep in mind.

  • Number Codes for disembakationGuests disembark by numbers codes according to flight departure times.
  • Disembarkation ClockThe amount of time it takes to disembark is based on how long it takes the ship to clear customs.
  • BagsBags will be collected from outside your stateroom on the last night on board. Learn about our convenient Luggage Valet service here.
  • Celebrity Cruises Bag TagsMake sure bags are properly tagged.
  • Important!Keep a carry-on bag with you. This should included clothes to wear the next day (you don't want to go home in your pajamas) medications, toiletries, etc.
  • Disembarkation ClockExtend your Stay program allows you to extend your cruise vacation, remain onboard and enjoy some of the ship services. Learn more.

Customs

Detailed instructions about clearing customs will be provided by the cruise director during the departing talk on the last day of your cruise. This is an important talk that everyone should attend.

U.S. Customs Clearance

  • Keep receipts for gifts and purchases.
  • U.S. residents visiting foreign ports for 48 hours or longer have a duty-free allowance of $400, and those 21 years or older may include one liter of liquor.
  • Guests calling in St. Thomas can return with $1200 in purchases (including not more than $400 in merchandise obtained elsewhere) and five liters of duty-free liquor (only one liter of which may be purchased outside the U.S. Virgin Islands: St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix).
