In addition, you will find other memorabilia from the SS United States throughout the restaurant, including a full-scale model of the great liner and original china and menus from her time in service.

Inspiration
Honoring Maritime History. One of the secrets behind the SS United States' speed was the innovative use of lightweight aluminum anywhere possible. She was built almost entirely of fire-resistant or nonflammable materials to keep her safe, light and fast. A truly streamlined ship; that's why there are no draperies or other "soft" decor in our SS United States Restaurant, just like in the original liner.

Cuisine
The goal is the perfect marriage of flavors, artfully presented. We always seek out the highest quality ingredients, such as sourcing domestic, diver-caught scallops. We especially love to prepare some of the dishes tableside for you, as you watch. The quality of the ingredients and the presentation is key. Dishes are created in the classical realm, but we really work with how the dishes and their accompaniments are presented. A cognac-flambéed lobster tail with fresh basil, applewood smoked bacon and Dijon cream, is finished right in front of you at your table.
