Must-Sees from the Editors of
Travel + Leisure

Four Mile Beach
Serenity seekers will love this pristine arc of shoreline along the Great Barrier Reef, whose adjacent real estate is Queensland’s bolt-hole for the stealth-wealth set. The beach’s white sands and pacific waters are typically uncluttered by people, though marine stingers, a local jellyfish, come out in volume during the summer season. But don’t let that deter you from taking a dip: there are stinger-resistant enclosures that allow for unhindered swimming all year round.

Wildlife Habitat
You can breakfast with the birds or lunch with the lorikeets at this eight-acre nature reserve that’s known for its interactive animal experiences. Birds often perch on your shoulder at mealtimes, and might help themselves to a bite when you’re not looking.

Daintree Rainforest & River Cruise
This excursion takes you through the World Heritage–listed Daintree National Park by foot and by boat. Keep an eye out for crocs as you wind along the Daintree River with a wildlife guide; walk through the rain forest in Mossman Gorge and be awed by towering waterfalls.

Be sure to visit our Shore Excursions page or speak with our onboard Destination Concierge for arrangements to any of these must-sees.
