Australian nature and wildlife are at their very best here. Kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, penguins, echidnas and birds all call the island home. Seal Bay is the only place in Australia where you can walk on the beach among a colony of endangered Australian sea lions on a ranger-guided walk. Flinders Chase National Park contains two of Australia’s most fascinating coastal landmarks, Remarkable Rocks and Admiral’s Arch. With all the wildlife and natural beauty you would think Kangaroo Island is uninhabited by humans, but it’s home to farmers, winemakers, artists, chefs and many more welcoming people. They are proud of what they have and take delight in showing it off to visitors.
