Day  2 Quito, Ecuador Cruisetour During a guided tour of the capital of Ecuador, situated at an altitude of 9,350 feet, you'll stand on the equatorial line at the Half of the World Park and Museum, and marvel at the monasteries of San Francisco and Santo Domingo. Your tour director will escort you throughout your Quito stay and serve as your personal concierge. Lunch with a spectacular vie w of the city, and enjoy a welcome dinner at a local gourmet restaurant.
Day  3 Quito/Baltra Cruisetour Early Am departure to the airport. You may pre-arrange a wake-up call depending on the departure time to Baltra Island. Please ensure that your ship baggage tags are firmly affixed to your luggage and ensure that you hand carry all medication, travel documents (ie: passport) and valuables. From the hotel lobby, your luggage will be checked straight through to the ship and delivered to your stateroom. Day  10 Baltra – Cruise Debarkation Cruisetour

Upon debarking from your Galapagos cruise, you'll fly to Quito Airport and then to Lima, Peru. A Celebrity Representative will assist with your transfer to the International Departure lounge in Quito. Detailed information is provided prior to disembarkation.

Upon arrival on Lima, Peru you will be greeted by a Celebrity Cruises representative at the airport, your guide and personal concierge for the Peru portion of the trip. Overnight at Country Club Lima Hotel. A detail schedule of events, and departure times will be provided upon arrival in Lima.

Day  11 Lima - Cuzco Cruisetour Your flight from Lima t o Cuzco takes you to the archeological capital of the Americas and center of the former Inca Empire. You'll tour nearby archeological sites, including Koricancha, the Temple of the Sun; the famous Fortress of Sacsa yhuaman, built with enormous block s of granite; Qenko, a gigantic rock with ceremonial steps; and Puca Pucara and Tampu Machay, offering marvelous views of the surrounding area. Overnight at Hotel Monasterio.
Day  12 The Sacred Valley, Peru Cruisetour Depart Cuzco for Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. At the colorful market of Pisaq, peruse locally made goods. Then tour the impressive Ollantaytambo fortress ruins, featuring terraces carved into the hillside and a cr owning temple designed for worship and astronomical observation. Overnight at Hotel Monasterio.
Day  13 Machu Picchu Cruisetour Board the famous Orient Express Hiram Bingham train for Machu Picchu. A tour guide will lead you through the almost perfectly preserved buildings and the mysterious passageways underlying the city. Then enjoy afternoon tea at the exclusive Hotel Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge before you return to Cuzco on the Hiram Bingham train. Overnight at Hotel Monasterio.
Day  14 Lima, Peru Cruisetour

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel at the established time and will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Lima, Peru.

You Lima visit encompass the district of Pueblo Libre, the Larco Herrera Museum, and the historic center of Lima including the convent of San Francisco, a masterpiece of colonial architecture where you can appreciate the beauty of its monastic cloisters.
Lunch is served at a Café del Museo restaurant.
Dinner is served at a local gourmet restaurant.
Overnight or day room at the Country Club Hotel in Lima.

For guests departing during late night hours, a day room will be provided as well as transfers to the airport for the evening departure.

Day  4: Gardner Bay (Española), Galapagos

A long white sand beach and clear blue waters make this an ideal spot for swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach. In the water, sea turtles, rays, colorful tropical fish, and maybe even a white-tip reef shark may be seen. It is also home to a colony of sea lions. Excursion options include beach walking, swimming or a deepwater snorkel for experienced snorkelers.

Day  4: Punta Suarez, Galapagos

A long white sand beach and clear blue waters make this an ideal spot for swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach. In the water, sea turtles, rays, colorful tropical fish, and maybe even a white-tip reef shark may be seen. It is also home to a colony of sea lions. Excursion options include beach walking, swimming or a deepwater snorkel for experienced snorkelers.

Day  5: Cormorant Point, Galapagos

Floreana was the first capital of the Galapagos and where Charles Darwin met the islands' Governor. Its small brackish lagoon is often home to flamingos, stilts, and white-cheeked pintail ducks, and one of its beaches is a highly used nesting site for sea turtles. Check out the green-hued sand where you land! Excursion options include a relatively short walk to the lagoon and sea turtle-nesting beach, and optional snorkeling and swimming at the landing beach. In addition, for experienced snorkelers only we offer a deepwater snorkel at nearby Champion Island.

Day  5: Post Office, Galapagos

Floreana was the first capital of the Galapagos and where Charles Darwin met the islands' Governor. Its small brackish lagoon is often home to flamingos, stilts, and white-cheeked pintail ducks, and one of its beaches is a highly used nesting site for sea turtles. Check out the green-hued sand where you land! Excursion options include a relatively short walk to the lagoon and sea turtle-nesting beach, and optional snorkeling and swimming at the landing beach. Punta Moreno will almost give you the feeling of time travel into a prehistoric era. Located on the extreme north coast of Isabela Island, between volcanoes Sierra Negra and Cerro Azul, Punta Moreno is dominated by jet-black pahoehoe lava that seems to extend as far as the eye can see. This has created numerous tidal pools, some surrounded by mangroves, that are a magnet for wildlife, including flamingo, great blue herons, moorhens and pintails. You can walk to the edge of the lava to look straight down at the inhabitants of the crystal clear pools, including the occasional green sea turtle, white-tipped reef sharks, and pufferfish. You may also have a chance to see huge marine iguanas, Galapagos Penguins and the rare flightless cormorant.

Awe-inspiring cliffs, blue waters, and wildlife create a zodiac ride to remember as we search for sea turtles, penguins, fur seals, the flightless cormorant, marine iguanas, marine mammals, and the oddly shaped form of the elusive sun fish.

Day  7: Puerto Espinoza, Galapagos

The half-collapsed remains of an ancient volcano make for a spectacular setting at this site. Awe-inspiring cliffs, blue waters, and wildlife create a zodiac ride to remember as we search for sea turtles, penguins, fur seals, the flightless cormorant, marine iguanas, marine mammals, and the oddly shaped form of the elusive sun fish.

Day  9: Puerto Ayora, Galapagos

This is the main population center of the islands and home to the National Park Service tortoise breeding center and the Charles Darwin Research Station. You will be able to visit the tortoise-breeding center and hopefully say hello to one of the island's most famous residents, Lonesome George, and walk through the Charles Darwin Station. You will also have the opportunity to take a bus ride to the Highlands to observe giant tortoises in the wild and walk through a lava tunnel. There will also be free time available for shopping.
