Captain's Club Terms and Conditions

Your Membership Status

To qualify for enrollment in the Captain's Club, you must complete one sailing on Celebrity Cruises or Azamara Club Cruises. Excludes complimentary sailings. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Your Captain's Club membership falls into one of three levels: Classic Level (after first completed cruise), Select Level (after earning 5 tier credits) and Elite Level (after earning 10 tier credits). When you've earned your fifth and tenth tier credits, your membership will automatically advance to the Select and Elite Levels, respectively. You can enjoy your new membership benefits on your next sailing on Celebrity Cruises or Azamara Club Cruises. Your membership number will remain the same as you advance to the next level.

Tier Credits

Celebrity Cruises makes it possible to earn up to three Captain's Club tier credits per sailing: earn one credit by sailing with Celebrity Cruises or Azamara Club Cruises*; earn one credit by sailing on an itinerary of 12-nights or longer, including Cruisetours (applicable to sailings on or after January 1, 2003); and earn one credit by sailing in a Concierge Class stateroom, AquaClass® stateroom, or Suite (applicable to sailings on or after January 1, 2004).

The Captain's Club program is subject to change without prior notice.

* Azamara Club Cruises Note: For a limited time, guests who sail on Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club cruises will earn credits toward their memberships in both Captain's Club and Le Club Voyage, regardless of which brand they sail. Both Captain's Club and Le Club Voyage members will enjoy the benefits of their tier levels on both lines. Program terms are subject to change.

Captain's Club Savings Certificate

Savings are in U.S. dollars, are not redeemable for cash, and not transferable. Only valid on new booking. When booking, please reference the applicable option code. Offer may be withdrawn at any time. Discount offer will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or otherwise destroyed. THE OFFER CANNOT BE USED WITH CERTAIN RESTRICTED FARES OR ON CRUISES ON BOARD CHARTERED SAILINGS. This certificate cannot be combined with another certificate on the same booking. Applies only to outside and above categories (category 8 and above). Subject to availability. Offer is not combinable with any other promotion or offer. Celebrity Cruises will deduct the applicable offer value from final payment upon review. Certificate must be submitted to Celebrity Cruises PRIOR TO FINAL PAYMENT. Discount applies on a per-stateroom basis, double occupancy. Singles paying 200% are entitled to full face value. Prices vary by ship and sailing dates, and space is subject to availability at time of booking. When booking through a travel agency, the certificate must be presented to the travel agent at time of booking. Certificate must be submitted at time of final payment. Travel agent commission is based on discounted price.

Priority Embarkation and Preferential Debarkation

These privileges offered to Select and Elite members are available at the following ports: Seward, AK; Miami, FL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Tampa, FL; Baltimore, MD; San Diego, CA; Honolulu, HI; New York, NY; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Harwich, England; Dover, England; Vancouver, British Columbia; Valparaiso, Chile; Barcelona, Spain. One-Category Upgrade

One-category upgrade requests must be made at the time of booking and apply only for inside-to-inside or outside-to-outside staterooms, depending on availability. This offer cannot be used with certain restricted fares including but not limited to Exciting Deals, ChoiceAir® specials, Reduced air, interline, travel agent, Travelzoo, and employee rates, Upgrades apply for one stateroom per cruise. Stateroom assignments only. Suites, Concierge Class and verandas excluded. Not valid on holiday sailings or Reunion Cruises. Upgrades available from categories 11-4 on all Celebrity ships except Celebrity Xpedition®.

Reciprocity Between Brands

Equivalent recognition is one of the benefits of being a Captain's Club, Crown & Anchor Society and/or Le Club Voyage loyalty member. It offers loyalty members the opportunity to receive recognition and similar benefits with matching tier status - both pre-cruise and onboard - when sailing with one of the three brands. Members of one loyalty program must enroll in a sister program in order to receive equivalent recognition benefits.

Cruise credits earned on one brand are not combinable with cruise credits earned on another brand. Cruise credits earned on one brand remain according to actual cruises taken with that brand and are calculated using that brand's program level accrual system. The benefits of the Captain's Club, Crown & Anchor Society and Le Club Voyage loyalty programs remain independent and cannot be combined.

Equivalent recognition between program membership levels works as follows: Celebrity Cruises' Captain's Club Select level is equivalent to Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society Platinum and Emerald levels and Azamara Club Cruises' Le Club Voyage Explorer level. Celebrity Cruises' Captain's Club Elite level is equivalent to Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club levels and Azamara Club Cruises' Le Club Voyage Discoverer level.

Celebrity Cruises' Captain's Club Classic level is not part of the equivalent recognition benefit.

ChoiceAir is our exclusive website where you can purchase airline tickets at the best prices. Guests who prefer highly personalized assistance when booking air itineraries, will appreciate ChoiceAir Plus. And we've taken care of the upgrade fee so our Captain's Club members can enjoy this personalized service anytime a booking is made through ChoiceAir. Our professional air agents will work closely with you on all of the details of your flight arrangements, offering the same low fares and choices found on the ChoiceAir website.

Celebrity Cruises Inc. is not responsible for changes in airline schedules or flight numbers after tickets have been issued. Any additional cost, including penalties, will be at guest's expense. If you cancel your ChoiceAir Plus Arrangements, you may be subject to cancellation fees. Some countries require guests to pay an airport arrival or departure tax, which is not included in the guest air ticket. The guest is responsible for this tax. Air tickets may be used only in conjunction with a cruise package and are subject to Celebrity Cruises Inc. cruise-cancellation penalties. ChoiceAir Plus obtains seat assignments at the time of booking, subject to the carrier's availability.

Guests purchasing ChoiceAir Plus release Celebrity Cruises Inc. from any and all claims for loss or damage to baggage or property, for personal injuries or death or for loss from delay arising out of the acts, omissions or negligence of any independent contractors such as air carriers, hotels, restaurateurs, transportation providers or other providers of services or facilities offered in addition to the ship's cruise vacation. Guest is specifically directed to the Cruise Ticket Contract, included as part of the cruise ticket. Celebrity Cruises Inc. in arranging for the transportation of guests to and from the ship does so with independent contractors and only as a convenience to the guests. Celebrity Cruises Inc. is not responsible for incidents such as airline cancellations, rerouting or any disruption of scheduled services or accommodations.

Pre-sailing Specialty Restaurant Reservations

You can make dinner reservations for a Specialty Restaurant anywhere from 60 days to 4 days prior to your sailing date when booking a cruise on any Celebrity ship except Celebrity Xpedition®. These unique dining venues are re-creations of the very restaurants onboard famous ocean liners of the past. You can make your reservation online via our dining reservation tool. If your desired time is not available, please contact our Captain's Club Loyalty Desk, as we have set aside limited seating for our loyalty members. Guests must be 12-years of age or older.
